TetroTETRO is Francis Ford Coppola’s first original screenplay since THE CONVERSATION. It is his most personal film yet, arising from memories and emotions from his early life, though totally fictional. It is the bittersweet story of two brothers, of family lost and found and the conflicts and secrets within a highly creative Argentine-Italian family. "I knew Argentina has a great cultural, artistic, literary, musical, cinema tradition, and I like those kinds of atmospheres very much because you usually find creative people to work with." - Francis Ford Coppola "I know choosing Vincent Gallo to star in my film will raise a few eyebrows, but I'm betting that seeing him in the role will open some eyes." Coppola said. Coppola has taken a step out of the spotlight with this independent self-financed film, dark and film noir, reminiscent of Rumble Fish, perhaps the South American version? httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJ_XTIsMKig

  1. Set in Argentina, Tetro follows the rivalries born out of creative differences passed down through generations of an artistic Italian immigrant family…

Whether Vincent Gallo raises eyebrows or on seeing his role eyes gets open is an altogether wait-n-watch; the attractive locales of Argentina are surely going to give some refreshing scenes is for sure!!

  2. The film released on June 11. From the time the titles start rolling, the film picks up pace and thread isn’t let loose till the end. The smoothness with which the film travels displays Francis Ford Coppola’s greatness.

  3. Tetro would have been better read than seen..At least we wouldn’t be jogging in and out of the scenes in a single viewing.
