See the Full Movie Page Legend Trailer Wonders If Two Tom Hardy’s Are Better Than One

There aren’t many trailers that come along that immediately make a film look like the next big thing. Legend, starring Tom Hardy in dual roles, is such a trailer, and you can probably thank Brian Helgeland for that. Writing and directing, the man who brought you L.A. Confidential and Mystic River knows how to set a scene, and while a story about the Kray twins in ’60s London may not instantly seem like the most interesting, the movie demands a viewing.

A double role is enough to elevate any movie, if it’s done right, but with one character who is fairly crazy, and an overall complexity to a wild situation, this one could easily be one of the best performances of the year. Tom Hardy is probably the guy who can pull it off, and the trailer certainly sells the fact.

As if he didn’t have enough this year.

Check this one out, and get lost in artistry.
