FilmReview Podcast Ep. 154 – Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation

Marc and Shane take a look at the latest installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise, and let you know if it’s worth your ticket money.

We had a technical glitch that resulted in our Ant-Man show getting lost, so we covered that one again, and we also covered Jenny’s Wedding, Paper Towns, and went back to Trainwreck a bit.

Don’t miss Marc’s Review, and be sure to email us any questions about past or future films/reviews at marc (at) wn dot com, and catch the show live next week, call in, or chat with us during the show at – – when we’ll be reviewing Fantastic Four.

A glitch in getting the High Def configured meant that for some reason the intro music wouldn’t stop playing, so be sure to buzz past the first 20 seconds or so.

The News! We run you through the news we couldn’t avoid mentioning no matter how hard we tried to convince ourselves. We didn’t have time for much this week, because we had so much catching up to do, and so many films to cover. Our Gambit love/hate took up most of our available time.

Review (15:00)

There was so much to get through that we were just zipping through the films. We were generally positive, but a bit disappointed when it came to the week’s big film, Rogue Nation.

We didn’t really have time for a Critic Takedown this week, but keep your emails coming. We love finding out own reviews to put the spotlight on, but we love doing it with your suggestions more. Tell us what critics/reviews need a closer look and/or which critics you think are crazy.

Tune in next week for Fantastic Four!
