The movie is long sometimes because there are lots of repetitions.
The settings are well-made and colored.
The story takes place at two different times : nowadays and at the pirats’ time.
Haddock’s character is well-made and he is also very funny.
Tintin’s hair and clothes are well-made but he looks too young.
The special effects are not very realistic but we liked when Haddock lighted a fire on the little boat. It’s not a complete story, it’s strange because at the end of the film we already know there will be a second episode. There’s no surprise anymore .We enjoyed the end because Sakharine was arrested by the policemen.

The films is sometimes repetitive but there are a lot of actions and the film is good because Haddock remembers his family story even if he is drunk. Tintin seems too young but he is a good actor. Special effects are well-done ,but the animated film is bizarre since there is a mix between real objects and “false” characters. We like the happy end : the good ones win in the end. There is also suspense because there will be another episode.

There are a lot of actions in this film even if sometimes the movie is long.
The ship and castle are well-done. Special effects are very very good.
Animated characters are a very good mix between reality and comics.And “Jamie Bell ” is a good actor
Haddock’s memory comes back little by little, it creates suspense.
The historical context is very good.
The movie is quite similar to the comic strips.
We like that the good ones win in the end, it’s a happy end.
We recommend the film to teenagers, adults and Tintin’s fans.

The misery of Annie’s life far more exceeds the hilarious tone of the movie. Her Helplessness moves through your mind and soul and you can feel how stuck she is, a situation which wouldn’t normally change unless there’s some outside help. However, the ending is less fantasy-like than the typical romcoms and so gives you a better touch of reality.
