If you want your hair spiked up without visiting the salon, then ask the producer of “Hero” and “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”. For he comes with his next horror film “Blood: The Last Vampire” (based on the cult animation series), whose story is centered on the theme of demons populating the earth, infesting it and ultimately silencing us with nightmares for many days. Saya; a half human and half samurai vampire kills those who gorge on human blood. Man eats man world..oops! Vampire eats vampire world. As she collaborates up with Council to slash all the vampires, she is sent to an American military base for a face off with a deadly vampire. Finally Saya’s hunt of 400 years ends in a face off with a vampire who is having is last cocktail of blood.

Where evil grows she preys… is a better way to express in short.

The movie gives a picture of a world class action film with great martial arts, where the vampire genre seems to be back to rule the theaters.

An Action-cum-Horror-cum-Thriller I will say, where actress Gianna Jun unquestionably deserves a pat on her back for portraying the character of Saya, who truly looks like a warrior who stands between the dark and the light, a half-human and a half-vampire samurai.

On the other side, the sword fights are just amazing, where the female in the lead role does remind me of the famous Jackie Chan series…Hmm..A female ‘Jackie Chan’ I must say…:)

This is something different..A martial arts trained vampire..i thought the canine teeth were enough..but this is an interesting film…Action packed horror film..neck sucking vampires are passe now..
