Submitted by rocco on May 27, 2009 – 5:04 pm4 Comments

eli_1New images released for The Book of Eli, it is a story following Denzel Washington as he makes his way through this post-apocalyptic world carrying a precious book that holds the secrets to saving the world.

Directed by Albert and Allen Hughes (Dead Presidents, From Hell). Credits include Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, Mila Kunis, Ray Stevenson and more.

To go into a bit more of the story, from what we have been told as Washington carts around this book, he comes to a fork in the road, his music player is out of batteries and he is thirsty so he heads into town to charge up and get some water, in the town he finds Carnegie (Gary Oldman) who shows particular intrusive interest in the book.

i am big fan of post apocalyptic fiction because its something that’s not always supposed to be treated negative or imaginary work, but a viewpoint that fiction is merging with reality as time goes by. Post apocalyptic fiction always turns out to be good read if you are really into it.
