Dev Patel the love torn guy in Danny Boyle’s “Slumdog Millionaire” has decided to showcase his devilish side in M.Night Shyamalam’s latest kiddie flick “The Last Airbender”. Dev who has replaced Jesse McCartney as Mr.Zuko has been seen sporting a mean look to get into his character for the movie which is a rework of the popular Nickelodeon series. The story which revolves around the basic warring elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Sun and Water has been receiving negative reports for an all-white casting, in spite of the original version having a strong Asian background. Whether Paramount’s move of casting Dev Patel will satisfy the livid fans is waiting to be seen.

The star cast of the movie also includes Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Jackson Rathbone, and Jessica Jade Anders who will perform the role of the four protagonists.

Hey, Dev Patel is coming again…..& that too in Night Shyamalan’s flick….
Let’s see how this bonding between the duos of Eastern origin is going to too woo the western entertainment market.

Shyamalan, who earlier has amused the audience with his academic award nominated ‘The Sixth Sense’, is all set to enthrall the audience once again with ‘The Last Airbender’.
This bonding between the director-actor of Indian origin, which has started receiving negative reports for an all-white casting in its inception, appears to be a fussy adventurous package, where the story revolves around the basic warring elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Sun and Water. Ahem….
