Hmm, our very Shyam benegal is one such eg and now me who too has begun my career in a local ad agency of my hometown, the day is not far away where i can my name getting listed among them..lol :) Hey, apart from John Hughes, i guess almost all the acclaimed directors of both bollywood and hollywood as well seems to have started their career as a copywriter in some or the other advertising firm.
