Girl admirers who just can’t stop raving about Ranbir Kapoor’s heritage Greek God looks can skip a heart beat as the movie stills of his new film ‘Wake Up Sid’ have been released. Casted along with Konkona Sen Sharma (one lucky gal!), Ranbir Kapoor plays the character of college going Sid Mehra; a lazy bum and unenthusiastic guy who is enjoying his carefree days in Mumbai as he is not been pressed with any important responsibilities. He just needs his camera, X-Box 360, car and friends to tide over the days as Sid the sloppy and aimless guy has nothing to look forward to. But his life after college changes as he faces the real world and its challenges. A series of hard hitting events make him re-think about his life that he was leading till now. Sid Mehra now needs to re-innovate himself. Shake himself really hard, get motivated and prepare to face what life has laid out for him.
Directed by first time debutant Ayan Mukerji, the film is produced by Karan Johan under his banner Dharma Productions. The film is slated to release on October 2nd 2009.
