Now that “The Hangover” has bowled down the box office with it grossing $45 million over a single weekend, star Bradley Cooper has entered into official talks to play the role of Lt. Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck in big screen version of Fox’s adaption of “The A-Team”.

Bathing in the dew-fresh success of his latest film, it was rumored that Cooper was in discussions with Fox people for some time to play the role Lt. Templeton, a part of fictional group of ex-US Army special force who work as mercenaries while being on the run from the military.

Casting for the roles of Hannibal, B.A. Baracus and Howling Mad Murdock has yet to be decided. This ambitious project of Fox will be produced by Ridley and Tony Scott and directed by Joe Carnahan of “Smokin’ Aces” fame. The screenplay has been written by Derek Haas and Michael Brandt of the “Wanted”. Expected release of the film is June 11, 2010.

Cooper’s next release will be a romantic comedy “All About Steve” where we will see him romancing actress Sandra Bullock.
