Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Film: Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Cast: Voice of Denis Leary, Ray Romano, John Leguizami, Queen Latifah
Direction: Mike Thurmeier, Carlos Saldanha
Duration: 1 hour 33 minutes
A complete entertainer with the right voice over the animations and casting, ‘Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’ is a promise to a blockbuster. Be ready to experience the same enfolding feeling enjoyed while watching the previous series of ‘Ice Age: The Meltdown’ and ‘Ice Age 2: The Meltdown’ as all the characters have come back to sway off the screen with their new sequel of ‘Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’ released by Fox Production.
Moving further with the same characters and plot, the movie smoothly touches its next stage, where in Scrat (Chris Wedge), Eddie (Josh Peck), Crash (Seann William Scott), Diego (Denis Leary), Sid (John Leguizamo), Ellie (Queen Latifah) and of course Manny (Ray Romano) come to know a little bit more about the dinosaurs that had survived on Earth before extinction. Starts off a bit slowly, but catches on with its speed quite comfortably.
As before, you will see Eddie and Crash are onto their funny deed entertaining everyone. Diego, fighting back with his crave of being strong, is in a worry of being a threatening and frightening tiger once again. Manny and Ellie are happy in their lovey-dovey life, gearing up the things for their first baby. And yes, looking at their life, Sid feels like starting his new life and in attempt to do so thieves off dinosaur’s eggs and protects them as his until they hatch. The angry mother dinosaur marches off with her kids and Sid. Kidnapped by all dinosaurs, Sid tries hard to save himself. In the meanwhile, Buck (Simon Pegg), a one eyed weasel, hops up in the middle, helping the herd through the jungle’s perils and the Lava Falls in an attempt to fetch Sid.
It’s sharp, perfect, funny and clever, making the kids as well as the grown ups laugh while they revere themselves completely with the dinosaurs. Well. all the Ice Age will not end unless Scrat was not on its desperate search for an acorn, other than getting distracted by a well-formed female squirrel. Audiences also get to see a budding romance in between Scratte (Karen Disher), a beautiful flying female squirrel and Scrat, who saves her life from the Lava Falls.
The movie stands up easily on its own, so all the new people, who are not acquainted with the 2 Ice Ages, do not need to worry and struggle their way buying or borrowing DVD’s to watch the 2 movies before watching this one.
Watch it in 3-D if you get a chance to do so!!!

If this movie has worked its only because of Scrat..She has been such a pleasant addition to the movie, that was becoming quite a drag.
Wow… Romance brewing between dinosaurs! Something different from the usual animated stuff. Even though I haven’t seen the earlier installments of ice-age, this one appears to be worth a watch…May be this weekend
Hey Suzy
There is no brewing romance between the dinosaurs, but it is in between Scrat and Scratte, 2 squirrels
