Warner bros have the best trap this season with Kevin Smith of the “Clerks” directing their next comedy “A Couple of Cops”, formerly titled “A Couple of Dicks”. But interestingly this film won’t be inked by Kevin Smith but instead by two new screenwriters Rob and Marc Cullen (of TV shows like “Heist” and “Las Vegas”).
Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan the original cast of the film, will now be coupled with Seann William Scott and Adam Brody in this action comedy which will see the light of the day in February 2010.
The script rolls its way through Wills and Morgan’s characters who are detectives on the hunt for a valuable 1952 stolen baseball card with Adam as their accompaniment. How they get through it, along with rescuing a Mexican beauty, mugging up with gangsters and drugs, forms the nub of the story. Scott plays the role of a thief best known for his souvenirs he leaves after his robberies.
Well, if Kevin Smith has his way then this movie will turn out to be quite a fast paced rib-tickling comedy.

Kevin Smith, an American screenwriter, director, is about to roll cameras on his next film, A Couple Of Dicks.
A pair of cops who start off looking for a stolen baseball card, before chancing on gangsters, drug money and an abundance of danger seems an adventurous venture indeed that will hit the floors soon..
