MGM’s live action comedy ‘The Zookeeper’ starring Kevin James and Rosario Dawson has signed on Adam Sandler, Cher, Jon Favreau, Sylvester Stallone and Judd Apatow to provide voices to the animals in the film.
Adam Sandler whose production company Happy Madison Production Company is also one of the co-producers in this film, will provide the voice over for the monkey. The giraffe’s voice will be of Cher, bear’s of Favreau while the lion will talk in Stallone’s accent. The elephant’s voice will be dubbed by Judd Apatow. The remaining voice overs cast has been completed by Jim Breuer, Faizon Love and Bas Rutten.
The story of the film centers on the animals in a zoo, helping out their keeper in winning back the woman of his life by teaching him a lesson or two in dating tips and techniques.
The film directed by Frank Coraci has been written by Jay Scherick and David Ronn, James, Rock Reuben and Nick Bakay. Jeff Sussman and Jennifer Eatz will act as executive producers. The shooting for the movie has been planned to start in late summer with a tentative release date of Oct. 8, 2010 release date.

This will be a sure shot winner. If Adam Sandler is lending his voice then this movie will and have to be a hit. I may not get to see him, but can atleast hear him.
Sly as a lion might sound macho, but i would have liked him to dub the bear’s voice..
