When one of the best marketers of ‘Bollywood’, titled ‘Yash Raj Films’, bring something new, it has to be unique…
A trio depicting ‘friends’, with a combination of two handsome hunks & a pretty babe in the world’s most sought-after city ‘New York’ and their college life may flatter the college buddies; but will the story, acting abilities of good looking co-stars and the film’s not-so-good music, atleast of the remix song in the second video capture the audience’s heart??
Earlier also, the well-established banner brought Hritik-Ash together in Dhoom-2, where the movie bombed at the box office merely because of its music, dance, and good-looking hot stars; but the story wasn’t worth a watch.
Now here, neither the music appears catchy, nor do the cute looks of Neil, hot-favorite John & beauty siren Katrina give an impression of a great bonding, which we have witnessed earlier in movies like Rang-De-Basanti, KKHH, etc. that showed some of the great bonding between college buddies…
As of now, only Irfan seem promising. Let’s see, what this actor, who has recently been a part of Oscar’s glory has kept in store for us??

    One more from Yash Chopra
But his time i am gonna watch this one for John !!!

  • Surabhi says:

Looks like John Abraham has always needed the help of co-actors to promote his films. His last hit ‘Dostana’ has Abhishek Bachaan as the lead actor and now its Neil Mukesh. Apart from the similarity of being good looking Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham cannot be compared in the acting department. Neil has fared much better in “Johnny Gaddar” than most of John’s earlier films, taken into consideration the fact that it was his first. His next release ‘Jail’ could turn out to be an interesting watch as it is directed by the acclaimed Madhur Bhandarkar. Hopefully the Bollywood film industry’s aesthetism bar levels are not crossed, if everybody knows what i ‘m hinting towards. :)

  • Soha says:

It won’t be surabhi.. I m sure..This film, as far as i can predict, revolves around the most ill-fate incident of terror attack @ Newyork’s Twin towers of WTC…

  • Madhu says:

Sometimes the right kind of marketing could boost a bad film while bad publicity/marketing tactics could harm the prospects of an excellent film. New York hasn’t been promoted properly, but its reviews have been good. Hopefully word-of-mouth promotion will save this film.

  • love these new era movies .they have the god blessings guys .every one dont live the life the way they live.munish uk
