Storyline:

Paa is the story about Auro (Amitabh Bachchan), an intelligent 13-year child with an extremely rare genetic disorder that makes him age faster.

Auro suffers from progeria like syndrome where he mentally thinks like a normal 13-year old, but physically is 5 times his age. Vidya Balan, a gynecologist plays his mother.

None but Amitabh Bachchan’s real life son Abhishek Bachchan plays Auro’s father Amol Arte, a young and progressive thinking politician.

Paa will be releasing on December 4, 2009 under the banner A B Corp and is directed by R Balakrishnan.  Ilaiyaraja has tuned the lyrics penned by Swanand Kirkire.

As the tag line of Paa goes, it is indeed a ‘rare’ story about a father-son, son-father relationship.
