The honor of opening the Times BFI London Film Festival, scheduled to run from October 14-29 will take place this time by ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’, a British film based on Roald Dahl book. The film is a stop-motion animation; all set & produced in UK has an impressive voice cast by stars Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Anjelica Huston, Jason Schwartzman, and Bill Murray, where the director Wes Anderson actually went to a forest, stable and sometimes underground as well to record voices. A fox named Mr. Fox, steals chickens, ducks, and turkeys from three mean, stinky and wealthy farmers –Boggis, Bunce and Bean – to feed his family. Getting fed up with this, the farmer’s try to kill him but they hardly succeed.

The story revolves around the fox and his family’s escape from the clutches of the farmers where they dig a deep tunnel to hide, raid a storehouse and ultimately decide to make an underground town where they can live safely by discreetly stealing food from the farmers. The whole drama ends up keeping the three farmers waiting forever whose tactics to guard fail each time.
